iubenda S.r.l. was founded in Milan in 2011 and is now part of the Belgian hosting group team.blue, which also owns CookieFirst and consentmanager through iubenda. Its products cover three jobs: writing the documents a website needs, collecting consent, and keeping records of that consent.

The privacy and cookie policy generator assembles policies from more than 2,400 clauses in 27 languages, and the vendor updates the clauses when the law changes. A terms and conditions generator with more than 100 clauses is available from the Advanced plan. The Privacy Controls and Cookie Solution is a consent banner that scans for cookies, pixels and trackers, blocks them before consent and records consent in real time; it supports IAB TCF and Google Consent Mode v2. Scans run monthly on Essentials and Advanced and hourly, with instant alerts, on Ultimate; on the free plan scans are "not guaranteed". A separate Consent Database stores proof of consent from forms, and an accessibility widget is sold as an add-on.

The free Privacy Scanner takes a URL and checks whether the site has a privacy policy, a cookie policy, a cookie banner and terms, against the GDPR and ePrivacy rules and several non-EU laws, and e-mails a report with tips on what to fix. It does not look at an imprint, e-shop duties such as withdrawal information, or HTTPS.

Pricing is per website. The free plan allows 5,000 page views a month, after which the banner is deactivated until the next month. Essentials costs €4.99 per site per month billed yearly (€5.99 monthly) with 25,000 page views; Advanced €19.99 (€21.99 monthly); Ultimate €79.99 (€89.99 monthly). The pricing page says prices exclude VAT, while the pricing FAQ says they include VAT where applicable; the overage fee is stated as €0.05 on one page and $0.06 per 1,000 page views on another.
